I already wrote another blog post which I intended to publish but then I thought: Let’s be somewhat orderly and chronolocal about this. An introduction should come first. So here we are. I’m going to tell you basic introductory information and then answer random questions because that’s a locical beginning point and I want you and me to get off on the right foot. If I’m lucky, perhaps you’ll hang around to see some of the other things I write. My goal is to reach readers like you after all. I will publish the other piece I wrote another day; probably in a week’s time.
I already have an About Me page with some basic information on it and this whole website has “Fantasy and Scifi Creator” on the top banner so we don’t need to go over that. Instead I’ll profile myself with fun irrelivent questions.
Name: Kismet Fawn
AKA: Illusory Angel
Favourite Colour: Purple
Favourite Animal(s): There are too many to count! However off the top of my head I’d have to say cats, rats, octopus and giant squid, frogs/toads, hedgehogs and of course deer. Being named after a baby dear, how could I possibly leave that out?
Now I’ll just pick out some other random questions from the internet to answer.
What is your favourite song or genre of music?
Again, I’m going to be vague and indecisive. I simply can’t say one song. I’d broadly say I like electronic. Trance is very nostalgic to me growing up with my dad. Dubstep reminds me somewhat of my mum. Liquid Drum and Bass reminds me if studying for my GCSEs and reading Homestuck (which I got so close to finishing but never did – shame on me). I really enjoyed the mixes published by one Laconic Spartan on YouTube although lately the channel hasn’t uploaded as much. I follow MrSuicideSheep and Xkito on there too, favouring the latter. I’ve had K-pop and vocaloid phases which I occassionally go back to and generally I tend towards more upbeat and energetic music, although I will sometimes make exceptions for Lofi and Celtic/World Music like Clannad or Deep Forest. To be honest, everything depends on mood.
What do you believe in?
I’d broadly label myself as agnostic or unsure. But then again, I think I’m inclined to believe to believe in reincarnation, ghosts, energies and so on. I’ve practiced Tarot in the past and I enjoy comparing people to their corresponding star sign. I find they often match! I’m not the sort to take horoscopes seriously or meditate every day but overall my beliefs give me comfort, guidence and a good spooky story from time to time.
Would you like to be famous?
I would love my name and my writings to be famous and well known! But would I like to be celebrity? No way. I wouldn’t like to be on camera and I doubt I’ll show my face as an author any time soon.
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Definitely an ambivert. I am perfectly capable of being confident and outgoing when I’m in a good mood but when I’m tired or down I will prefer my own company. Sometimes, I struggle to be totally on my own and sometimes long interaction is more difficult. It all depends. However, my genious and perfect solution is to have one very close friend who I can be completely myself with. With them I don’t have to pretend anything and its like being on my own… but with company! Bonus points if I spent most of my time with them online, because I can take space whenever I need and I can use my expirience with the written word to my advantage when expressing myself.
